A Brief Intro to Simpled
Simpled was released onto the world wide web on
Thursday December 20th, 2007 at exactly 6 pm. Simpled currently offers assorted graphics,
music, downloads, tutorials, quotes, awareness ribbons, and food for thought, as well as a place for Grace to
rant thoroughly and rave on and on about meaningless things blog out about her life. :)
The Name
The webname, Simpled, originated from its root word, '
simple,' and came from Grace's belief that the most
simplest things are also the most
elegant and
beautiful.
It is hosted generously by
Elaine, Grace's wonderful friend and fellow schoolmate.
Version 1.0 ; Zen's Oblivion

Hey...does
anybody remember this one? ^^ I honestly don't know how I thought of the name; I've always been interested in the study of
Zen, and when I saw the picture of the
pebbles (ahem, which many people mistook to be 'jellybeans'...=P) it really inspired me. This was also the layout that inspired all of Simpled; the main colour scheme was shades of
grey. =)
Version 2.0 ; Airwalk

Version 2.0
Airwalk featured a beautiful white bridge-structure. It was my first attempt at a
Tables layout, and I think it turned out quite well, to be honest. I also used a really nifty
fading-grey javascript code that made the layout look really
distant and serene. The main colour scheme for this layout was white and shades of puppy-blue.
Version 3.0 ; TickTock

The most current layout for
Simpled, and the most classiest one I've ever made, featuring a clock and books placed underneath.
I really liked the image of the clock and books because it captivated the
perspective of a busy student; so many books, so much homework, and so little time to go through it all.
I didn't spend too much on the name of the layout (
Ticktock) to be honest, and the layout itself turned out completely different (actually, much better) than I imagined it would be. =] The main colour scheme consists of shades of orange, green, grey, and grey-blue.
